National Youth Week 2011: Live It Now
As part of its efforts to reduce the number of young people that go missing each year, and the impact this has on many others, the NMPCC is again partnering with National Youth Week (NYW) in 2011 to raise awareness of these issues with a youth audience.
By supporting NYW the NMPCC aims to interact and engage with young people in an informal setting, to provide information about how they can help support friends and family who may be at risk of going missing and encourage them to reach out to the available support networks if they are experiencing difficulties themselves.
The NMPCC will also be seeking to highlight some of the issues and impacts surrounding young people and missing persons and dispel some of the common myths associated with these issues.
