The NMPCC uses a number of media outlets to communicate the issues and impacts associated with missing persons and to profile missing person cases.
The NMPCC has developed partnerships with Foxtel’s Crime and Investigation Network , Woman’s Day , Network Nine’s Missing Persons Unit and Without a Trace television series, MySpace and McDonalds.
Family members or friends of missing persons can participate in media opportunities. In order to participate in media opportunities, the missing person must be reported as missing to State or Territory police in Australia.
