Media partners

Thanks to media partners, the NMPCC has been able to extend its reach and increase awareness of the issues and impacts surrounding missing persons to prevent people from going missing, and assist in the resolution of missing person's cases.



Foxtel’s Crime and Investigation (CI) Network works with the NMPCC to develop the Missing Person Fact Files – profiles of actual missing persons which it broadcasts on its Network on an ongoing basis.

CI also develops information segments (videos) which provide a snapshot of the issues and impacts associated with missing persons in Australia and New Zealand.

MySpace has developed a missing persons MySpace profile on behalf of the NMPCC and profiles missing person’s cases on its website.

McDonalds supports the NMPCC via promoting National Missing Persons Week through its 754 restaurants throughout Australia. Promotions include the distribution of missing persons posters and tray-mat advertising during the month of August.

The Nine Network’s Missing Persons Unit and Without a Trace television series continue to support the NMPCC by profiling missing person’s at the conclusion of each show.

Woman’s Day profiles missing persons on its website and features missing persons stories in its magazine.
