Overview

The NMPCC actively raises awareness of the issues and impacts of missing persons through campaigns  and media  to inform and educate the Australian community about this significant issue.

A key campaign is National Missing Persons Week which this year was held from 3 to 9 August focusing on young Australians. Young people under the age of 18 account for 20,000 out of the 35,000 missing persons reports received each year. The tagline for National Missing Persons Week is: “When communication goes missing, so does our youth. Don’t close the door to communication”.

Upcoming events include Day for Daniel.
