Media Alert - National Missing Persons Week 2003
The National Missing Persons Unit (NMPU) advises all media outlets that this year's National Missing Persons Week will be held from 3-9 August 2003.
A national campaign, "PLEaS Help", will be coordinated by the NMPU in conjunction with police services around the country, the Australian Red Cross, the Salvation Army, International Social Service, Kids Help Line and other community groups working in the missing person area.
National Missing Persons Week will be launched in Canberra on Monday 4 August 2003 with promotional activities in all States and Territories.
