National Missing Persons Week: 3-9 August 2003
The National Missing Persons Unit (NMPU) at the Australian Federal Police invites media representatives to attend the launch of National Missing Persons Week 2003 (3-9 August).
Shirley and Justin Houlahan, the mother and brother of missing person Kylie McKay will attend the launch on Monday to speak on behalf of families and friends across Australia who have been affected by the disappearance of a family member or someone close to them.
Like so many other family members around Australia, Shirley and Justin Houlahan are waiting to hear what has happened to someone who is an integral member of their family.
Kylie is a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and good friend to so many. They are all finding the trauma of not knowing what has happened to her extremely difficult to manage every day and are calling on us to help.
