The Department of Families and Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs has a Reconnect program that provides assistance to young people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Inspire Foundation

The Inspire Foundation is a national non-profit organisation which aims to create opportunities for young people to change their world.

The Inspire Foundation also operates Reach Out! which provides information, support and resources to improve young people's understanding of mental health issues, develop resilience, increase coping skills, and facilitate help-seeking behaviour.

 

Kids Help Line

Kids Help Line provide a national, 24 hour confidential telephone support service (with trained counsellors) for young Australians aged between five and 18 years.

Daniel Morcombe Foundation

The Daniel Morcombe Foundation Inc is a non-for-profit organisation active in implementing ‘Harm Prevention' initiatives.

The objectives of the Foundation are to: educate children regarding their personal

safety (including abduction); assist victims of crime, particularly where crime involves children; continue the search for Daniel Morcombe; raise funds from public and Government entities to support objectives; and provide a vehicle to attract funding from State and Federal bodies and to establish and maintain a public fund to attract public donations and bequests.

Talking Works

Talking Works is an interactive website for young people, aged 14 to 17 years, to raise awareness and assist young people to identify those potentially at risk of going missing and how they can help each other. Talking Works was funded and developed by the Missing Persons Committee NSW Inc in collaboration with the National Missing Persons Coordination Centre and the Families & Friends of Missing Persons Unit.
