Circumstances

On Australia Day, 26 January 1966, the three Beaumont children took a five-minute bus journey from their home to Glenelg beach. Jane (then aged 9), Arnna (then aged 7) and Grant (then aged 4) left their home in Harding Street, Somerton Park and failed to return home.

Police investigating the case found several witnesses who had seen the children near the beach in the company of a tall blond and thin-faced man with a sun-tanned complexion of thin to athletic build in his mid-30s. Confirmed sightings of the three children were at Colley Reserve, Glenelg and Wenzels Cake shop in Mosley Street, Glenelg.

The children have not been seen or heard of since this time despite extensive and ongoing investigations into their disappearance. Parents Nancy and Grant Beaumont remain in contact with police. Police suspect the children have been abducted and murdered and there is a $1,000,000 reward for information on this case.

If you have information that may assist police to locate Jane, Arnna and Grant, please call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
