Michael Vrankovic was last seen on 10 January 2026 via CCTV at Woolworths George Town. He was reportedly suffering from memory loss prior to his disappearance. Michael possibly attended the Mount George area as he regularly went walking there.
There was a believed sighting of Michael on 14 January 2026 by a member of the public, where he was seen walking along Low Head Road towards George Town. Extensive land, air and sea searches for Michael were conducted, but he remains a missing person.

Franz Grathwohl was last seen by friends on 27 July 2025. He was later observed via CCTV on 1 August 2025 when he attended Woolworths Deloraine and purchased groceries. Franz's vehicle, a blue Getz was then seen travelling back towards his house which is located in the Golden Valley/Liffey area. The vehicle was located at Franz's address. Franz is known to frequent Deloraine and surrounding areas and he speaks with a thick German accent. It is possible that Franz has become lost or suffered a medical episode on his remote property. Extensive land and air searches for Franz were conducted, but he remains a missing person.

Dr Victoria Jean Paine was last seen on 19 March 2025 before disappearing from her home address at Lady Barron on Flinders Island in Tasmania. It is believed she left on foot in the direction of White Beach. Extensive land, air and sea searches for Victoria were conducted, but she remains a missing person.

Ahmed Sayf Eddine Hamada, also known as Sayf or Sef Hamada, lived and worked in Tasmania. He was last seen at his home address on 26 October 2024.
Enquiries show that Ahmed had recently purchased a new vehicle prior to his disappearance - a black Porsche Cayenne and this was located in the Fortescue area on 29 October 2024.
Extensive searches for Ahmed were conducted, but he remains a missing person.

On 1 December 2022, Swiss national Peter Baggenstos set sail on his 13m yacht the Lady Lay from Bellerive TAS bound for New Zealand.
On 5 December 2022, the Lady Lay’s AIS transponder stopped transmitting about 140km off Tasmania’s east coast in the Tasman Sea.
Large scale searches in the Tasman Sea were subsequently conducted for Peter and the Lady Lay however neither were located.
There has been no trace of Peter since 5 December 2022 and serious concerns are held for his safety.

Anthony Vere Goodyer was last seen near George Town in northern Tasmania on 4 February 2022.
At the time, Anthony was walking on East Tamar Highway wearing dark coloured ¾ shorts, dark t-shirt, tan work boots and carrying a shoulder bag.
There have been no sightings of Anthony since which is out of character.
