Michael DEVITT
Circumstances
In January 2010, Michael Devitt left family and friends in Brisbane to give a trucking mate a hand with his business up north. Michael worked in the trucking industry and frequently travelled interstate for work. Inquiries have identified that prior to his dissapearance, Michael was living in Cannonvale near Airlie Beach in Central Queensland.
On 26 January 2010, Michael was at Proserpine's Grand Central Hotel. During the evening he exchanged heated words with an unknown person at the hotel pub. Michael attended work as expected the following day, but this is the last known sighting.
Michael has not contacted family or friends since this time. This is considered out of charachter for Michael and police believe that the circumstances surrounding his disappearance are suspicious. His bank accounts have not been touched and his mobile phone also remains unused.
