Barry was last seen at his home address in the Glebe, Tasmania on 5 January 1992 and was subsequently reported to police as a missing person on 10 January 1992. He is described as 5ft 10 tall, blonde straight collar length hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion, wearing green track pants, white running shoes and a jumper. Despite extensive searches and enquiries Barry has not been seen and remains a missing person and his disappearance reported to the Coroner. At the time of his disappearance, Barry was aged 37 years.
